In my state of underemployment, I've been doing lots of crafting. Yesterday's creations:
A matching laptop bag and phone case from upcycled sweater:
And an awesome snowglobe as a gift for an awesome person. This is the inside bit before I put it in the water (it now requires re-gluing because my glue was not exactly waterproof...)
The Craft Pirates were at another craft fair, a very windy one:
This weekend we'll be selling at Baltimore's biggest farmer's market and in a couple of weeks we'll be at another fair hosted by a local bike co-op :)
wahoo!

Tiny ice cream and tiny bunting!
Baltimoreans host an awesome annual event called Small Foods, where participants make tiny versions of foods. This year's entries included tiny bagels (complete with tiny lox, tomatoes and chives), tiny chicken 'n' waffles, tiny chocolate truffles and...
tiny ice cream cones with homemade chocolate ice cream, made by some of onecraftybandit's crafty housemates:
I helped out, mostly by making an equally cute bunting to advertise our deliciously tiny wares (now decorating my room):
crafty love,

superbowl t-shirt scarf
Happy winter, fellow crafters! As you may know, today is the national day of eating chicken wings and drinking beer and making a lot of noise over a football game the Superbowl! As my adopted city of Baltimore's Ravens are playing and the entire city has been going crazy with purple pride, I thought I should come up with something to wear today to display my Bmore pride when I watch the game.
Inspired by onecraftybandit and all those cute t-shirt scarves I've been seeing all over Pinterest, I decided to make one myself. I found a rather ugly (but sufficiently purple) Winnie the Pooh t-shirt at a thrift shop and turned it into this:
I had a minor snafu when I found out you're not supposed to cut on the seams of the t-shirt, but my trusty glue gun saved the day and I don't think you can even tell I screwed up, right?
well, go Ravens! and catch you next time, pirates.
